Bespoke Stationery process
Simple and stress-free stationery design
I believe wedding planning should be enjoyable so I aim to make the process of ordering your custom stationery designs as easy and enjoyable as possible. Discover the process of ordering your stationery below.
Fill out my enquiry form with as much information as you can, then I will get in touch with a rough quote.
I will most likely need more information from you before giving you a finalised quote, as I truly believe couples should only order what they actually want and need, should never feel pressured to order more, and should never feel like they have to order embellishments or extras just because Pinterest says to.
When completing my enquiry form, I also give the option to book an online video consultation call. I always recommend speaking to me about what you are looking for because I've found everyone articulates design differently and it always helps to make sure we're all on the same page.

I encourage you to share inspiration with me, but I will never copy another designer's work.
I love to see your venue, colour scheme, bridesmaids dresses & groomsmens suits, plans for your flowers, and hear about the vibe you are planning for your day. I also love to hear how you both met, and about any special stories or experiences you've shared in your time together. This all helps me create stationery that really encapsulates your day in print.
I start by sending you a moodboard which will contain references you've supplied to me and a general vibe we have discussed for your wedding day and the invitations.

Once I am happy I have understood what you are looking for and have collated all of the relevant information from you, I will begin the design process. I'll create for you 2-3 different invitation designs, which you can then choose between and you also have one round of amends and changes you can make to the chosen design.
Once you have chosen a design, I will then create the other elements of the invitation suite (information card, RSVP card, etc) and send you digital proofs of these for your approval. At this stage you have 2 chances to make tweaks and changes to the designs.

If it's Save the Dates we're working on, you will still be sent 2-3 options and then have 2 chances to make changes.

On the Day items generally follow the same styling of your invitation suites to create a coherent experience for your wedding, so the design for these will be in the same style but can follow at a later date. The process for signage and on the date also varies depending on the item which we will happily discuss at the time.
Once the designs are complete, I will send you digital proofs for your approval and a proposal & quote for your printing.
Once you have approved the digital proofs and paid for the print, for bespoke stationery I can then supply a sample suite to show you exactly how your invitations will look. This step is optional and adds time to the process so please do factor this in.
After you've received your sample suite and given your approval we then move into production. If on the rare chance you have design changes to make at this stage, I will then provide you with a quote for the time these amends will take.
Following approval, I will then begin producing and assembling your stationery. Print production for invitations and Save the Dates is handled through a combination of in-house production and a carefully selected network of trusted suppliers, depending on the requirements of each order. To produce signage and other on the day items, I rely on a trusted selection of suppliers I have, all chosen because they adhere to the same values as I do within the studio.

I build the invitation suites and supply them ready for you to add them into envelopes (which I supply) yourselves. I believe sending out the invitations, taking the trip to the Post Office and then celebrating afterwards is one of the important moments of wedding planning to experience together.
When all your bespoke stationery is printed and assembled, I then pack it carefully, using reused/recycled packaging where possible, and get it ready to send to you. I offer different postage options depending on your location and what is being sent.

I do not offer a delivery service, but you are always welcome to come and collect your completed stationery from my studio in Manchester if you like. Speak to me about the different options available.
